Three athletes from our elementary school competed in the Special Olympics competition on Saturday, April 22nd. The athletes were: Bryson Lasley (2nd grade), Joseph Bradford (3rd grade) and Mason Tucker (4th grade). The staff was from Social Communication Room: Jenny Iker - teacher/coach, Jeri Nowell, Sandy Wiederhold and Jackie Shelton. These athletes trained for several months to develop their running and throwing skills to be ready for this big day. All athletes did their best and brought home silver and gold medals. We are very proud of these athletes!
