What’s a typical Saturday night like for you?
I typically spend Saturday nights reading, playing board games or trying a new dinner idea.
What are some pets you’ve had or would like to own?
I have fish (guppies- Caspian and Rocket) and a lavender and white pomeranian named Fiona (Fifi)
What is your dream vacation?
Visiting all the Disney parks in the world!
How do you spend your summer breaks?
Swimming, reading, gardening and spending time with family
If you won the lottery and decided to give up teaching, what would you do instead?
Move to Florida to work at Disney or travel to the Disney parks.
What are some traditions or superstitions you have for the First Day of School?
Typically celebrating my birthday since it falls on the First Day that teachers return to school.
What makes a ‘good day’ at school?
People being respectful and lifting each other up
How do you show your school spirit?
Wearing blue and gold as well as rooting for students at games
What is your favorite dish from the cafeteria?
Breakfast for Lunch!
What sort of morning routine do you have to get jazzed for class?
Listening to music or saying hi to others
What’s the best/worst thing about being a teacher?
The best thing about being a teacher is making a connection with students and them returning year after year to say hello or give you a hug.
If you could take the students on a field trip to anywhere in the world, where would you take them?
National Parks across the US. They are an inspiration to help maintain or better our environment and I think it is very neat that the US is known for having the first National park in the world (Yellowstone).
If you were to be given a superlative when you were in school, what would it have been?
The superlative I received multiple times in school was “Most likely to become a teacher” and “Best Smile” for always smiling.
How long would you survive a zombie apocalypse? Why?
NOPE! I do not feel like I have any physical skills to get rid of any zombies.
In which Hogwarts house would you be sorted
Ravenclaw because their main trait that they value is learning/wisdom and I am always wanting to learn new things
If you could grow up in any decade, which would you choose?
I would want to grow up in the early 1900’s (1900-1920). While these were times of struggle, it was also a time in which so many new things were invented. I think it would be exciting to be a part of such an innovating time!
