Miss Rhoden isn't exactly new to CNE. Last year, she student taught in first grade with Mrs. Stein. CNE was lucky enough to have an opening in kindergarten so we could keep Miss Rhoden with us. Let's get to know a little bit more about the newest kindergarten teacher!
What’s a typical Saturday night like for you? Spending time with my
friends or trying a new place!
What are some pets you’ve had or would like to own? I have two dogs.
Peanut and Dexter. However, I would really like to own a cow.
What is your dream vacation? Going on a safari in Africa.
How do you spend your summer breaks? Sitting at the pool or traveling
somewhere warm!
What are your “trapped on a desert island” books or movies? I am not a
big reader but I love movies like “How to Lose A Guy In 10 Days” or “10
Things I hate about you”
What would your last meal be? Chicken nuggets with mac n cheese
What can you cook to perfection? Are you willing to share the recipe? I
am an awful cook. I have managed to set my microwave on fire 3 times.
If you won the lottery and decided to give up teaching, what would you
do instead? Move to the beach and teach yoga!
What makes a ‘good day’ at school? When we have outdoor recess and
all of my students are being good listeners!
What is your favorite dish from the cafeteria? Taco Salad (I will buy it
every time)
What sort of morning routine do you have to get jazzed for class?
Turning on all of my extra lighting and talking with my teacher friends!
What’s the best/worst thing about being a teacher? The best part is
making 18 best friends who look up to you.
In which other teacher’s class would you like to enroll, even for a day?
Why? Mrs. Langdons class, they always are finding something exciting
to do. They are always exploring or creating something!
If you could pass on any wisdom to your students, what would you
share? Be kind to everyone, even when its hard
What’s a school sport or activity you enjoy watching? Football
If you could take the students on a field trip to anywhere in the world,
where would you take them? Florida. There is so much to do at the
beach. Plus they have so much room to run around!
What kind of driver were you when you first got your license? I am still
going strong with no tickets (Yes , I did get pulled over for speeding in the
school zone.
How do you think students will remember you and your class?

If you could grow up in any decade, which would you choose? The 60s
