Meet Ms. Goldfuss aka Coach aka speech-language pathologist. Wondering what a speech-language pathologist does? According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, speech-language pathologists assess, diagnose, treat, and help to prevent communication and swallowing disorders in children and adults. What’s a typical Saturday night like for you? Spending time with my family or friends and watching sports, especially Oklahoma football and UConn basketball.
What are some pets you’ve had or would like to own? I love chocolate labs. I had a chocolate lab named Bailey and she had the sweetest personality.
What is your dream vacation? I would love to go to Greece!
How do you spend your summer breaks? Cruising/traveling, reading for fun, and spending time by the pool.
What would your last meal be? Pasta and breadsticks
What makes a ‘good day’ at school? When a student accomplishes the goal they have been working towards for the first time. There is no better feeling than seeing the joy on a child’s face.
What is your favorite dish from the cafeteria? Grilled cheese and tomato soup.
Are there any embarrassing teaching moments you’re willing to share? What are they? I wore two different pairs of shoes one day and did not realize it until I took them off that evening.
