How do you spend your summer breaks? For me, my summer breaks cons
ist of spending time with family and by the pool reading books!
What’s a typical Saturday night like for you? A typical Saturday night for me is a movie marathon with my husband. Whether they are holiday themed or science fiction movies, I am always down if there is popcorn involved!
In which Hogwarts house would you be sorted? If I was sorted into a Hogwarts house, I believe I would be in Ravenclaw. This would be my choice of a house because they value knowledge (continual learning) and curiosity. I am always curious about new topics and I will get lost in research for hours just to know more about it.
If you could grow up in any decade, which would you choose? The decade I would choose would be the 1910’s or the 1920’s. It would be so exciting to see the advancements being made at that time first hand.
What are some pets you’ve had or would like to own? I love all animals but I am a huge cat person and if I get another one, I would love a Scottish fold. If I were to get a dog, I would want a collie.
What’s the best thing about being a teacher? The best thing about being a teacher is when the kids see you as more than your teacher but as a family member. I LOVE the unconditional love that they show to one another and look out for the well being of everyone.
If you could pass on any wisdom to your students, what would you share? There are two things I would share: 1. No teacher is ever looking for perfection from you. They are only looking for you to try your hardest and do your best. 2. It’s okay to make mistakes, own them, be honest about it and learn from it. Others will see that how you overcome a situation is bigger than the situation itself.
