What is one of your hidden talents? Cross Stitch and Wood Burning
What would the students be surprised to find out about you? I live on a small farm with chickens and we had a fainting goat
What’s a typical Saturday night like for you? Hanging with my husband
How often do you accidently start speaking Spanish at home? Lecturing about fractions? Correcting grammar? I am constantly asking what temp the food is and when we have to get the food back in the fridge. (my family hates it )
What are some pets you’ve had or would like to own? We have had chickens, cats, dogs, rabbits but my favorite was when we raised fainting goats. (Our last one just passed away)

What is your dream vacation? England
How do you spend your summer breaks? Traveling but the past few it has been working for CNE families food pickup
What are your “trapped on a desert island” books or movies? I would want my candy crush lol
What would your last meal be? Calzone from LaRoses
What can you cook to perfection? Sweet Potato Casserole
If you won the lottery and decided to give up working, what would you do instead? Travel

What are some traditions or superstitions you have for the First Day of School? Smile smile smile
What makes a ‘good day’ at school? Having enough food so all the kids can get what they want
How do you show your school spirit? All my CNE shirts
What accomplishment fills you with pride so far this year? All the ladies in the cafeteria passed Level 2 food safety (normally only managers have to do this)
What is your favorite dish from the cafeteria? All of course
What sort of morning routine do you have to get jazzed for class? Coffee
How do you keep things fresh? We love to decorate the kitchen. It brings new excitement to the kids
What inspires you? The kiddos

How do you connect with students? I sing and dance. At first they think I am crazy but they end up laughing and singing along also. A smile is the best thing you can give them

What differences do you see in your morning students versus the lunch crowd? Breakfast/lunch Breakfast- sleepy and barely moving Lunch- with friends and riled up especially if they just came in from recess
If you could pass on any wisdom to your students, what would you share? Keep smiling and look up to the sky.
How do you remember all of your students’ names? Can't but we try
What’s a school sport or activity you enjoy watching? Soccer and bowling
If you could take the students on a field trip to anywhere in the world, where would you take them? Sounds small but to Hocking Hills. So much nature to see and enjoy
Why do (or don’t) you friend former students on Facebook? Only once they are out of school will i except. I never ask them

What kind of driver were you when you first got your license? Good
What is your first memory from school? Playing at a kitchen set in kindergarten and my mom picking me up so I had to leave the kettle on
When or why is (or isn’t) a picture worth a thousand words? Pictures are the best. I have over 50 photo albums
How do you think students will remember you and your class? Crazy Lunch lady
How long would you survive a zombie apocalypse? Why? I wouldn't I am not observant enough
If you could grow up in any decade, which would you choose? Exactly where I did- the 80's wish it was still like that
What are your thoughts on astrology? Do you know your sign? I do but I do not believe in horoscopes
What are your must-have smartphone apps? Candy crush, Libby for my audiobooks, Pandora and snap chat- because of my family
Is there a quote or saying that you live your life by? Just keep smiling, just keep smiling
What would your perfect party look like? Family with food
