Mr. Taylor has been at CNE since he was in kindergarten and has been teaching kindergarten for quite a few years. He is also a dog lover and recently adopted a new puppy. Read on to learn more.
What is one of your hidden talents? One of my hidden talents is something I enjoy very much-singing in my church choir at church. I’ve always enjoyed singing at church as young boy, and now I am part of our worship team on Sunday’s at church.
What can you cook to perfection? Are you willing to share the recipe? My favorite thing to cook in the whole wide world is pecan pie. I love eating as much as I enjoy baking it. Sorry, no I can’t share the secret!
What is your dream vacation? My dream vacation would be to go to Ireland! I see so many pictures of it and would love to visit someday. It has such a beautiful countryside.
What inspires you? What inspires me is my students. My kids are the reason I get up each morning and come to school to teach. Their bright shining smiles brings such joy to my heart and they bring such joy to my life.
If you could pass on any wisdom to your students, what would you share? One bit of wisdom I can share with my students is whatever after they choose someday that they choose something that makes them happy. To make sure that it brings a smile to their heart and look forward to getting up each day and enjoy going to it.
How do you think students will remember you and your class? I hope my kids remember me as a teacher who loved and cared for them. I don’t have children of my own and my kids are like my children. I do love to spoil them on occasion.
How long would you survive a zombie apocalypse? Why? I would definitely rock surviving a zombie apocalypse. My favorite show is “The Walking Dead”. You can learn a lot about survival on that show.
