Have you ever wondered why you would need to support your child in literacy, especially reading, at the high school level? Has your student ever said, “why do I need to be a proficient reader once I leave high school?" Are you curious about the importance of reading in the military or other career opportunities? If you have been asked any of these questions or are just curious about what literacy looks like in high school, please join us for this informative event - Why is reading important now and in the future?
The virtual event will take place Wednesday, October 20th at 7p. A Zoom link will be shared on the night of the presentation.

7:05 pm -7:30 pm Breakout sessions with presenters (breakout rooms)
7:30 pm -7:40 pm Library services presentation (everyone together)
7:40 pm - Exit Survey (fabulous prize will be drawn from completed surveys)
