Just a few reminders as we begin the last week of school before Christmas Break.
Christmas Break
Students will not have class December 20th – January 3rd. Classes resume for students on Tuesday, January 4th at 7:20a.
1st Semester Grades
The 1st Semester ends this Friday. At that time we will average students’ 1st Quarter and 2nd Quarter grades to determine if they earn 1st semester credits. Students need to have an average of at least 60% in order to earn a ½ credit for the class. Spirit Week
Supply Drive
The Student Senate is sponsoring a supply drive for needy families. Students can bring donations into their 1st bell teachers. The top 3 classes will earn prizes this Friday. Contact Ms. Nazarene with any questions - nazzarine_s@cneschools.org.
Family Career Challenge
Our focus at the High School this year is literacy – reading, writing, and speaking. We have been trying to demonstrate to students that reading and writing does not end when they graduate, adults in all career fields read and write in some fashion. We are encouraging students to have a conversation with a family member over Christmas Break to learn how that person reads and writes in their job. Any student that records the interview and uploads it to https://flipgrid.com/092afc1e will be entered into a drawing for gift cards and spirit wear.
