CNE is NOT on a delay tomorrow. This message is from Clermont Northeastern Schools. We have been made aware that once again, the news channels are reporting a 2 hour delay for Wednesday 1/15. Clermont Northeastern is NOT on a delay tomorrow. We will start school at our regularly scheduled time. We apologize for the confusion and are working with the news channels to get this corrected.

Clermont Northeastern Schools will be closed on Friday 1/10. No Friday Events. Saturday's events TBD.
See website for more information.

Dear CNE Families and Staff,
After carefully monitoring the latest weather reports and consulting with local weather services, we have made the decision to close school tomorrow, Friday, January 10. This decision was not made lightly, but with snow expected to begin mid-morning and intensify by early afternoon, safety remains our top priority.
Initially, we considered a two-hour early release to get students home before the worst of the weather hit. However, the updated forecast now predicts heavy snowfall beginning around 1:00 PM, which would coincide with our dismissal times and create potentially hazardous travel conditions for buses, student drivers, and families. Given these factors, we believe closing school is the safest option.
Additionally, all extracurricular activities scheduled for Friday will be canceled. We are hopeful that weather conditions will improve enough to allow Saturday’s events to proceed as planned. Our grounds crew has been informed and will work to ensure that our campus is cleared and safe. A final decision regarding Saturday’s activities will be made based on conditions at that time.
Thank you for your understanding and support as we prioritize the safety of our students and staff. Please stay safe, and we will continue to keep you updated through our usual communication channels.
