Congratulations to our National Honor Society Inductees!



Our Freshmen had the opportunity to participate in the Junior Achievement Inspire Program today. Students had the opportunity to explore different career paths and get first hand experience in some of today's most in-demand career fields. It was a great opportunity for our kids!

The Hoxworth Blood Drive will be on Friday 4/3 8a-1:30. Sign-ups Monday-3/23 during 5th period lunches in the front lobby. Permission slips are required for all 16, 17 and 18 year olds and can also be picked up during lunch next week. Please see Mrs. Diekmann for any questions.

The Difference Makers Club placed a whiteboard in the Cafeteria to spark discussion among the students. Today students were given the prompt "A Leader is..." See a few of their responses below!





Congratulations to Andrew Butterfield and Logan Pottorf, CNE students who attend Live Oaks, for winning Gold Medals in the Heavy Equipment Regional Skills Competition! They will compete at the 2020 State Skills Competition in April. Great work!

Students in Mrs. Sullivan's Forensic Class used their knowledge of anatomy to identify an unknown murder victim and rebuild a life size skeleton.




Yesterday students in Mrs. Reinke's Weight Training class had the opportunity to visit the Mercy Healthplex in Anderson and take part in Body Pump Class. We appreciate Mercy welcoming our students and sharing their resources with our students!

Students in Mr. Tabor's Military History Class built working trebuchets after learning about how they were used in historical battles.



This morning Allyn Gum, Evelyn Young, and Dakota Brown participated in the Batavia Rotary Club's 4 Way Test Speech Contest. They did an amazing job and represented CNE extremely well! Allyn was selected to represent the Rotary Club at the Southwest District Speech Contest!

Every Monday we start our classes with circles focused on a specific topic. Today's topic was healthy disagreements. Mr. Thompson and Mr. Wells decided to bring their classes together and had an amazing discussion!
