Parking is free and available on the surrounding streets.
Prom is a very special event and care should be taken to treat it as such. We want everyone to be able to have a safe and enjoyable time. Remember, You Matter, You Make a Difference, Make it a Positive One!

Dear CNE Families,
Last week, we implemented a total testing environment and completed our first round of End Of Course (EOC) testing for students taking English Language Arts II with great success.
Next week we will be conducting EOC testing for students taking Algebra I (9th) or Geometry (9th/10th) on Tuesday, April 23 & Wednesday, April 24.
The following week we will be conducting the final round of EOC testing for students taking Biology (9th), American History (10th), and Government (11th) on Monday, April 29 & Tuesday, April 30.

Students who are testing should report at normal time.
Students who are NOT testing MAY operate on a two-hour delay schedule.
Please note, there is no special transportation. Students who are not testing and cannot make transportation arrangements are welcome to ride the bus and report at normal time. Students not testing, but reporting at normal time, should be prepared for a 2-hour study hall at the beginning of their day.
EOC testing can be an especially stressful time for students. It is important that they prepare themselves physically and mentally. Parents can help by ensuring their student(s) eat well and maintain an appropriate sleep/rest schedule. During these few days, CNE HS will maintain a quiet, focused, and distraction free environment to allow all learners the opportunity to perform at their very best.
Please rest assured the entire CNE HS staff will not only take great care of your students, but continue our work of innovative and excellent instruction on a daily basis.
Sincerely,
--

CNE High School Principal

A beautiful day for the Chicken Leg Invitational track meet! Go Rockets!!!
Congratulations Nick Studer on being named the Rotary Student of the Month. Nick is always dedicated to his studies but more than anything he is a quiet leader to his friends. He doesn’t give into peer pressure. His behaviors are consistent regardless of what is going on around him, and his peers notice and respect him for it. He is diligent in his studies not because the content always comes naturally to him but because he has a standard for himself. He doesn’t fall back on the laurels of being “smart” but instead puts in the work and the result is consistent results along with deserving admiration from those who educate him.
FFA AG DAY!!! What GREAT FUN for our littles! :)
