Good afternoon Clermont Northeastern High School Parents, Caregivers, and Students!

Our teachers come back officially tomorrow for the first of their professional development days!  I can tell you that many of our teachers have already been in the building throughout the summer, setting up their classrooms, lesson planning, and collaborating to create great experiences for our students.  I’ve been very impressed with our teachers and their dedication to making CNE High School better every year!

One of the things I’ve learned about CNE HS is our PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports) core values.  These core values are something that we will work with our students to understand and embody throughout the school year.  This coming Friday, we will have stations for our students to learn more about what it looks like to live by these core values at school, and we also recognize the importance of us, as the adults, to live these out as well.  Our PBIS Core Values are:
Be Responsible,
Be Safe,
Be a Problem Solver, and
Display Pride

Look for me to expound on each of these Core Values over the next few weeks!  We can’t wait to have your students back on Thursday!

WHAT’S NEW

Student Schedules
As noted last week, students will be able to pick up their schedule at the Back to School Blast.

Students should also be able to view their schedule on Progress Book.  We are aware that there were issues occurring last week with Progress Book, and our “Student Services” (the new name for our Counseling Office) has been working with Progress Book to fix these errors.

If students are unable to pick up their schedule at the Back to School Blast, they may do so in the front office the first day of school

Please note: Our counselor and administrators worked hard to align students’ schedules as best as possible to their requests from last school year.  Changes to students’ schedules will only be made if there was an error in placement.

Final Forms
If you have not yet done so, please update and complete your student’s Final Forms information.

This information is critical for us to ensure that we have the correct contact, medical, and other information for your student.  Use this link to log in, and please call the high school front office with any questions.

Bus Routes
Please be sure to check out the Bus Routes information posted on our district website.  See this link for that information.

Rocket Report
Please be sure to check out Superintendent Mr. Tim Sies’s parent newsletter: The Rocket Report.

Expect this High School Update to be linked in The Rocket Report in upcoming weeks!
