Elementary School was excited to celebrate the end of the year with a Beach Party themed Literacy Day on May 17! This was a fun day for students to relax, enjoy, and maybe learn a thing or two about literacy.
The day included:
WHO DEY Bengals mascot who walked around from room to room to greet students, take photos, and visit with classes. This was probably the highlight for students!
The Fairy Godmother came to visit grades K-2! She had a green screen to take beach-themed photos.
The STEAM Museum set up in the gym to provide students with several hands-on learning activities, such as stations with 3D Printing, robotics, music, and more.
Kona Ice was in the parking lot! This was a PBIS quarter reward.
Senior strut went by – we wish our seniors congratulations!
Additionally, each grade-level had their own beach-themed literacy activities, such as beach parties, glo parties, and others, like bringing in a beach towel to lay on while students read in the library!
Enjoy your summer, students! It is well earned.
